This is Classroom of the Future, Mobile Classroom by Gollifer Langston Architects. This project for client: London Borough of Camden Council.

Description from Architects:
This is a prototype expandable mobile classroom which is delivered off the back of a standard flat bed lorry. Once in place the capsule extends to create a wide footprint, stage and ramp access.

The scheme was funded by DfES as one of thirty pilot projects exploring future learning environments. The concept was to develop a flexible ICT rich environment capable of easy transformation to support changing uses.

The classroom is fitted with workstations, recording facilities and audio/visual equipment. It can be deployed rapidly, safely and cheaply in order to allow movement between locations.
