This Minimalist House with two large pairs of doors, designed by Vandeventer + Carlander Architects. Located on a deep and narrow lot between neighboring uphill houses, the cabin was built on a pre-existing foundation within a developed garden. The design of the cabin is a simple wood framed box with two large pairs of doors opening onto the garden and views. A metal clad wall serves as the privacy screen for the garden. A sloped shed roof creates a sleeping loft above the open living spaces below. The void between the roof and walls bellow a glazed to provides views from the loft and to let in lots of natural lights.
