” In association with PageSoutherlandPage in Dallas, ZGF designed a new freestanding 328,000 SF specialty children hospital for the Children Medical Center of Dallas, located in Plano, Texas. The 48-acre site, known as Legacy Park, was chosen for its easy access across North Texas and southern Oklahoma.
The facility features three above-ground floors plus a lower garden level, 72 single-patient room (12 ICU beds and 60 medical/surgical beds), and four operating room (plus shelled space for four more), full-service diagnostic and radiology services (including CT and MRI), an emergency care center, a lobby cafe, full-service cafeteria, chapel, gift shop, family resource center, and various patient and family lounges.”
