Sunset Hill Residence by Robin Chell Design
Description from Robin Chell Design :
Built on a hillside overlooking Puget Sound and the Olympic Mountains, this new 2500-square foot home features expansive windows and a combination of warm, durable materials, including concrete flooring and natural cedar siding. The interior scheme focused on a modern, neutral palette while expressing the architecture and maximizing light throughout the home. A separate office for the client was created in the lower floor, introducing a true live-work use into this neighborhood. A central “lantern” comprised of an open stairway and three-story light well was designed as the visual and functional focal point for the home.
Robin Chell Design also coordinated and specified exterior materials, color palette and building massing with the architects.

Park Avenue Building Interior Inspired Apartment Interior Design

March 08, 2011 By: archinhome Category: Apartments Design, Architecture, Interior Design

This interior photo of building located on Park Avenue, New York, USA. Building with stylish interior design can become inspiration to decorate our home interior or apartment interior. Look at, the living room with large window overlooking Park Avenue instead of a traditional wall and highly creative arrangements. One set sofa with rectangle glass table located face of this large window. Grey wall decor create a very interesting effect and even can attract attention. The color palette is simple (white, gray, black and sober yellow), but leads to a perfect visual harmony. The bedrooms are large and also connect with the outdoors through floor to ceiling windows. The toilet wall received a touch with flower motive wall decor.

Delene Cabin in Norway by Tommie Wilhelmsen
Delene Cabin is located in Østhusvik, Rennesøy island, Norway. This was designed by Tommie Wilhelmsen architect. With 120 square meters of total areas which makes it perfect for a comfortable nature family retreat. The architecture of the residence is original and intriguing, featuring unexpected angles and curves. The association of wood, glass and rock creates great visual effects. The consequences- an appealing exterior design, interesting to observe in detail from every corner of the construction site. Once inside, the guest is welcomed by a unique mix of wood and concrete which, surprisingly, manages to create a cozy living area. The sober color palette and the minimalist furniture create an interesting ambiance and complete the otherwise traditional decor.
