August 10, 2013 By: archinhome Category: Architecture

Adelphi Hotel is one of famous hotels in Melbourne, Australia. Designed by Denton Corker Marshal. This Hotel has a unique feature is the glass fronted 25m long pool extensd through the front door to roof level. Levels 10 and 11 Club of the Chamber of Deputies, lounge and bar overlooking the city to the bay. The current structure, form and overall character of the building has been maintained, with new works are treated as an element within that tissue. The new elements – stainless steel, aluminum, translucent glass, veneer and flat colored surfaces – to strengthen and clarify the new over the old. Externally, the color becomes the sign of the building. Panels, flooring, poles and buildings in the bustling town blue, green, yellow, orange and red are superimposed on the gray cement made of natural tones.
