This house located in side of Lake Michigan in Michigan. Designed by Wheeler Kearns Architects, the house has relax area with pool view, sitting on a chair while enjoying the view of the sky and the pond provides a quiet atmosphere. The exterior materials consisting of ipe, copper, weathering and stainless steel were selected for their longevity and low maintenance characteristics as well as their beauty. The interior is similarly durable and low maintenance with its use of pine siding; ipe, basalt and cork flooring; basalt countertops and translucent glass shower enclosures. The interior is conditioned with a geo and solar thermal heating and cooling system. Provisions have been made to accommodate a future wind turbine for power generation. The living and dining rooms are on the first floor with bedrooms and a family room on the second. A separate guest quarter is provided above the garage to the north. The boardwalk which connects the two extends south to the screen porch and beach path beyond.

Manly Street Beach House is a beach house for a family of five was designed by Parsonson Architects.It was intended that the house create a story of passage from suburbia to the beach and the horizon beyond. The living area is a raised pavilion from which to enjoy the hot summers and views of the sea. Metaphors related to the location are threaded through the design. These are present as you pass through or stay in the house, adding a resonance that is not necessarily fully discovered.

Designed by Charlie & Co. Design. Situated on 78 bucolic acres in the Western suburbs of Minneapolis, this client wished for a European-Inspired farm house that appeared to have been built generations earlier. Steeply pitched roof forms with deep overhangs, recycled heavy-timbers along with other natural materials, help lend a sense of tradition and permanence to this home.

Designed by Bruce Bolander Architect, this house consists of two level. Wooden upstairs connect lower floor with upper floor. Living room,Kitchen dining room is on lower floor. Bedroom is on upper floor with bathroom built in this room. Large clear glass make the house enough sunlight during the day.
