Sunrise Residence by Stephen Jolson is an old factory renovated into beautiful and practical home combined with working studio. Working in such large space is the dream for many people and Stephen manage to implement it in his home. The factory is located in Grattan Gardens Community in Melbourne so it’s surrounded by very green environment. The home is spread on two floors connected by suspended steel staircase, designed as a soft ribbon that traces a path with built-in lighting. The kitchen, living room, playroom and laundry are situated on the first floor. At the second level is the master bedroom with private bath and walk-in wardrobe, kids room, storage room, bathroom and fitness area. Other part of the factory hosts a study of architecture and interior design, with a staff of 12 people.

This Corten House is designed by Studio MK27, located in São Paulo, Brazil.
The front facade is made of Corten weathering steel. The dialogue between the rusty texture on the outside and the stone, wood, white mortar and the glass build the space. In the ground floor, there is ample room with a ceiling height of 5.2m and four folding doors that completely open out to the deck and external fireplace; in the living room, a free wooden volume houses the kitchen and utilities program. The three bedrooms are located in the second floor.

On the rooftop of the house, there is a wooden deck. This space functions as a sun deck with a heated pool and a view of the city of São Paulo.
Casa Corten is an urban house located near the largest park in the city of São Paulo, Brazil. The site is long and narrow, and its residents, make use of the rooftop and, especially, the park itself for leisure.

A distinctive curved roof house has been spotted in Piddington, Oxfordshire, and architect Adrian James is behind this. Awarded a commendation at the Clay Roof Tile Council’s 2008 Clay Roofing Awards, The Muswell House was able to make use of its roof to maximize the internal space. A stunning architectural example, Adrian has supplemented a contemporary looking wall of glass to the direct illuminated open living room. Featuring a ground source heat pump and a heat recovery ventilation system , the Muswell house is a stylish eco statement with a very small carbon footprint.

This Panama House is designed by Studio MK27, located in são paulo, Brazil.
The interior plan is organized into 3 floors and a sub-solo. Upon entering the lot, a tree-covered patio leads the guest to the door. A social hall distributes part of the program of the house: a library, vertical circulation, the utility rooms and the living room. From within the library you can see, in front of the exterior stone wall, a Maria Martins sculpture, reposing over a reflecting pool. The living room has large spans that open, in their entirety, to the garden, building a spatial continuity between interior and exterior. In the garden, the pool, mirrors the stones of the wall.

The site of Casa Panamá is located in one of the garden neighborhoods, just some blocks from Paulista, the financial center of the city of São Paulo. The client has an important art collection, above all, modern Brazilian art, and the house was designed to house this collection. The works of art are scattered throughout all the areas of the residence, from the bedrooms to the gardens

This Sumaré House is designed by Isay Weinfeild Architects, located in São Paulo, Brazil.
The plot is not a small one (700 m2), but due to construction (height) restriction laws, the building should not exceed 2 floors, and an underground floor was necessary. There, the architects placed the caretaker’s quarters and the office – as both areas open onto small but nice lawns, one does not feel like being underground at all.

On the middle floor, a few steps above street level, there are the sitting and dining rooms, the kitchen and a larger lawn. In the living room, we designed a long étagère so the owner could display her collection, ranging from works of art to design and vintage objects. On the upper floor, there are the bedrooms – hers and a guest’s – and the ‘facilities’ for physical exercising: ballet and swimming.
