Argyll Road Residential was designed by Mackenzie Wheeler Architects ,Located within the prestigious Phillimore Estate in Kensington, this substantial mid-terrace private residence was built in the late 1800’s.
The property is arranged over 5 storeys and has undergone a complete programme of refurbishment to create a family home that provides contemporary facilities, while respecting existing and traditional design features.
Rajvilas is one of 13 health club and spa developments for Oberoi Hotels, including city centre and resort locations.
The project comprises a new hotel constructed in the style of a traditional fort with extensive ornamental landscaping and tented guestroom pavilions. Mackenzie Wheeler were appointed to design the spa facility, formed from an existing haveli, extended to include a tranquil courtyard water garden with outdoor spa tubs and a contemplative walled garden.
Four Seasons Hampshire Hotel was designed by Mackenzie Wheeler Architects.
The scheme comprises two new wings to create a central garden courtyard, providing new guestroom, dining and back of house accommodation.
The existing buildings now provide reception, library, bars and guest suite accommodation with a new gatehouse entrance and scenic driveway. The old stable block has been extended to create a new spa, linked to the existing buildings via an all-glass structure to meet with operator and heritage requirements. Within the broader landscape an equestrian centre, fishing and boating lake has been created as part of a restoration programme.
Formerly the headquarters of the Systems Union Group, the project comprises the conversion of Dogmersfiled park, a grade 1 listed country estate extending to 250 acres. Mackenzie Wheeler was appointed by the developer to design a five star 135 key Hotel and Country Club.
