Abbotsford Sports Centre by PBK Architects
The project is a three level design with the event or ice level at grade with the rear or “back of house” end of the building. The level up is the main or public concourse, integrated with the rolling terrain of the campus and located to take advantage of a natural high point on the site. As a result, the front doors of the facility are also at grade allowing for easy accessibility for all visitors. The third level of the complex includes 20 private suites, “loge boxes”, a large multi-purpose lounge, and smaller party rooms.
